Tell Michelle and Rachel what you need from your stay or event. We can discuss entrances, room layouts, bathrooms, routes, seating and practical arrangements for the particular cottage or space. Please ask us to confirm any measurements or facilities essential to your visit.
Wild Woodpecker is our most accessible cottage, with ramp access, ground-floor bedrooms and a wet room with a wheel-in shower. A connecting door leads directly between the bathroom and bedroom. There is also an upstairs bedroom reached by stairs. The AccessAble assessment records limitations affecting grab rails, shower seating and the alarm arrangement. Please discuss your requirements with Michelle and Rachel so we can confirm ramp details, door widths, transfer space and current bathroom equipment before you book.
The assessment records a step-free entrance and access within the main room. Entrance width and the toilet with adaptations require individual checking. The report notes restrictions involving toilet transfer space, grab rails and the alarm arrangement. Please discuss your needs and the proposed event layout with us.
The ground around the site is flat, with a gravelly surface. Guests with accessibility needs may be dropped off directly outside their cottage. This drop-off arrangement is only for guests with accessibility needs; general parking is in the designated guest car park.
