The University City of Lancaster is the place for a great night out.

With a large selection of busy bars and nightclubs Lancaster is the place to be. You can choose from a wide variety of large modern bars with wide screen sports, to the more traditional pubs with live music.

If you wish to travel sightly further afield, The Platform in Morecambe is an up and coming venue for live evening entertainment.

For evenings of culture and relaxation, a visit to the Dukes or Lancaster Grand theatres may be to your liking. Both theatres feature regular productions, and the Dukes also features a cinema.

If you enjoy clubbing, then try Toast nightclub which is located in the heart of the City of Lancaster and one of the best nights out in Lancashire. As one of the more original thinking nightclubs in Lancaster you will enjoy a great nightclub experience.

If you don't mind travelling a little further afield there are more nightclubs in Blackpool.

Brookes has been established in Lancaster in Dalton Square for many years and is close to the mainstream bars in the city centre. It mixes old school tunes with all the recent dance music which goes down a treat. Popular with students, Brookes offers a cheaper alternative to the larger clubs in the city and there is a friendly atmosphere which embraces clubbers of all ages. Brookes is a large nightclub with two very big and well staffed bars which offer a wide variety of beers and spirits.
