Directions to

Patty's Farm Barn

Patty's Farm Barn is located on the outskirts of Lancaster. It is easily reached by road. The farm is situated on the road to Cockerham, not far from junction 33 of the M6 motorway.

Whether you are coming from the north or the south on the M6 it is best to come off at junction 33.

At the roundabout at the end of the slip road from junction 33 of the M6, turn South on to the A6 towards Garstang. After about 1 mile, take the right hand turn (at a white cottage) signed for Cockerham & Glasson Dock.

Drive for 1.5 miles until you reach a "T" junction. Turn right into the village of Cockerham.

At the Manor Inn (above and shown as PH on the large scale map opposite) there is another junction. Drive across the short stretch of dual-carriageway and head right towards Lancaster. You are now on the A588 travelling north.

Take the 1st left onto Hillam Lane as shown in the above photo.

Stop at HILLAM LANE FARM, shown above, the 1st farm on the left at the bottom of the hill, and collect your keys.

Phot of Chris & Margaret

Chris, Margaret & family have lived in the area all their lives. Once the barn ceased to be used for agricultural purposes, they decided to convert it into the 6 cottages. Now affectionately known as "Patty's Barn" the cottages are ideally placed for lovers of the countryside, and those who do not like to be too far out of the city. The drive to Lancaster takes only 10 minutes.
