Here a Greenshank wades in the waters. Morecambe Bay hosts many thousands of resident birds all year round, and the migration seasons always bring in plenty of visitors.

Fishing
One of the many acitivites you can take part in is fishing our private pond.

Fishing is superb at Patty's Barn

Manor Inn - tel
Located within 15-20 mins walk of Patty's Barn and situated in the village of Cockerham, Tom & Wendy serve home cooked food and beer at reasonable prices. The Manor is quiet during the week, but gets busy at weekends.

Stork Hotel - tel
Situated just 2.5 miles from Patty's Barn the Stork is a busy traditional pub providing good meals and beer. Families are welcomed, and the pub has a good reputation with the locals.

Fleece Hotel - tel
The Fleece is situated in Dolphinhome, approximately 4 miles from Patty's Barn, and is probably the busiest local pub at present. It has just been completely refurbished and provides good meals at reasonable prices. The Landlord usually stocks two or three guest beers at any given time.
