Cycling
The area around Patty's Barn is quite flat which lends itself to easy cycling. There is a designated cycle track that runs from Glasson Dock into Lancaster along the old railway line.

Bird-watchers paradise!

Being situated on Morecambe Bay makes Patty's Barn an ideal base for those who enjoy birdwatching. This photo is of a Pink-footed Goose.

Chris, Margaret & family
have lived in the area all their lives. Once the barn ceased to be used for agricultural purposes, they decided to convert it into the 6 cottages. Now affectionately known as "Patty's Barn" the cottages are ideally placed for lovers of the coutryside, and those who do not like to be too far out of the city. The drive to Lancaster takes only 10 minutes.
